Team Billing & Credits

A team has its own plan, separate from any members' personal Glaze plan, and the team itself pays. Billing and credits are managed from Team Settings, under Subscription, by anyone with the Owner or Admin role.

You can create a team in Glaze for free but publishing apps to a Team Store requires Team Pro.

  • Free: Build apps, invite team members, and control your team. Building apps uses each member's own personal credits.
  • Team Pro: Adds a private team store, grants each member a monthly credit allowance, and centralizes billing to the Owner or Admins. See Team Store.

When you create a team, you choose between a one-time 14-Day Store Trial (no card, available once per account) or subscribing to Team Pro immediately. The trial covers store access; building apps still uses each member's own credits until the team is on Team Pro.

Owners and admins manage the plan under Subscription in Team Settings in Settings:

  • On Free, Subscribe to Team Pro starts the subscription.
  • On Team Pro, Manage Subscription opens the billing portal to update payment details, view invoices, or cancel subscription.

Glaze Team Pro is billed per seat, with one seat per member. Seats adjust automatically as your team changes: add someone and a seat is added, remove someone and it's removed. Changes are prorated against the current billing period, so you're billed for the time a seat is actually held.

Pending invitations count as seats. A seat is reserved the moment you invite someone, before they accept, so inviting people adds to the billed seat count right away. Cancelling a pending invite frees the seat again.

Team Pro

On Team Pro, each member receives a monthly credit allowance, and one person's usage never draws down another's balance. Pooled team credits are not yet available. Owners and admins can see each member's remaining credits in the Credits column of the Members list.

This is the team equivalent of the personal Pro allowance. For how credits are metered and what's free, see Credits.

Members can't buy credits for themselves. When someone needs more than their monthly credit allowance, an owner or admin can top them up directly, or the member can request more and have it approved. Team Top-ups require an active Team Pro subscription.

To top someone up directly, open their row menu in the Members list in Team Settings, click Top Up Credits, and pick a top-up pack.

When a member requests instead:

  1. A member requests more credits: When their balance runs low, the credits indicator in Agent Chat's composer offers Request top up. After they send it, it reads Top-up requested.
  2. Owners and admins see the request: A request appears next to that member in the Credits column of the Members list. Opening it shows a Top-up Request dialog with who's asking and how many credits they have left.
  3. Approve or dismiss: Choose Approve to pick a credit pack and grant it, or Dismiss to decline.

Owners and admins control whether requests are allowed at all with the Allow Credit Top-up Requests toggle in the team's Subscription section (shown once the team is on Team Pro). Turn it off and members can no longer send requests.
